Sometimes we go down hard and need a hand up ... but hate charity.

1) It all starts with YOUR club.   Let us know what you are doing so we can link to it.

2) Use the How-To info at this web site and our free resources.

3) Get your interested club members to register so they can be told how to help others.

Your contact information will be used just as stated on the page hosting the registration form.  As we hear about riders in need vouched for by clubs you will know about it too.   Your information is not sold or shared if that is something you are worried about.

Earlier Efforts

Volunteers distributed fliers in an effort to prompt visits to the site to created a list of registered riders ready to help other riders.   Letters and e-mails have been sent to contact persons as we find them/learn about them for the BMW clubs who in turn got the word out.   Raffles as an incentive to register were held at a few rallies.   As the we made a point of stating that the goal was to get the word out to others about individuals in need being helped by clubs the advisory group then advised that we had to get focused on the clubs as the first priority and the site was re-tooled to make it easier for clubs and to give them tech support as needed including free services.

Future Fund Raising, Yes or No?

Currently the program does NOT itself seek funding of any kind either to take the program itself to another level or to directly help injured riders.  If we see that clubs are not reaching out and helping their own, this may change.   We do encourage clubs to "pass the hat" at events to raise money for crashed riders who may appear on this web site and we may as Phase II create fund raising events but only if there are at least two riders a year on the web site needing help and being helped by clubs.
